Black Art Speaks

Our Story

Black Art Speaks is a collective of passionate artists dedicated to amplifying their voices through the transformative power of art. Inspired by Alandes Powell's poem 'We Want What You Want', this organization uplifts Black artists and champions social justice through various artistic expressions. The collective has successfully united 17 Black lead artists and numerous volunteers to create impactful works, including the powerful Black Lives Matter mural in Cincinnati, Ohio.
