Our Story

The Black Alliance for Just Immigration (BAJI) was founded in 2006 to address the intersection of racial justice and migrant rights. Through education, advocacy, and cross-cultural alliances, BAJI strengthens a national movement to combat racism and economic disenfranchisement in African American and Black immigrant communities.

Impact

BAJI's legal program effectively combats the deportation and criminalization of Black immigrant communities through legal representation, training, and know your rights clinics, leading to significant social and economic justice improvements.
