Since its inception in 1997, Bit By Bit Therapeutic Riding Center has been a beacon of hope for individuals with special needs in Northeast Oklahoma. Founded by Linda Barron, this premier therapeutic riding program began in Claremore and has since relocated to Oologah, where it now serves over 70 students. With the help of nearly 20 horses and over 150 dedicated volunteers, Bit By Bit continues to transform lives through the healing power of equine therapy.
Research indicates that equine-assisted activities can significantly enhance physical and emotional well-being, leading to improved flexibility, balance, muscle strength, confidence, and self-esteem.
