Our Story
The Birds of Prey Foundation was founded in 1979 by Sigrid Ueblacker, beginning with the rehabilitation of an orphaned starling. Over the years, it has expanded its mission to care for various raptors, officially becoming a nonprofit in 1984.
Impact
Each year, the foundation rehabilitates over 600 raptors, providing them with a second chance at freedom. Since its inception, it has successfully admitted and cared for over 18,000 birds.
