About Bird Treatment and Learning Center
Bird Treatment and Learning Center, known as Bird TLC, began as a small group of dedicated volunteers under the guidance of Dr. James R. Scott at Arctic Animal Hospital. Established as a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 1988, Bird TLC has grown significantly, now operating from a state-of-the-art 4,000-square-foot rehabilitation clinic located above the beautiful Potter Marsh. This facility provides care for over 500 injured, ill, and orphaned wild birds each year.
