The Bike Library

Our Story

The Bike Library began in 2004 as a volunteer-run community bike project in Iowa City, Iowa. With a mission to get more people on bikes, the organization repairs donated bicycles and offers them to the public. Bikes are available for checkout with a deposit, allowing individuals to enjoy cycling without the burden of high costs.
