Big Picture Alliance (BPA) is dedicated to empowering youth to define their own narrative through the art of filmmaking. Located in Philadelphia, BPA offers a pathway of school, summer, and workforce digital media programs for youth ages 12-24, guiding them from script-to-screen and curiosity-to-careers. By uplifting and amplifying marginalized voices, BPA cultivates a new generation of storytellers who contribute to a more inclusive, equitable, and just society.

Impacting Lives Through Digital Media

Since 1994, BPA has served over 10,000 youth in Philadelphia, resulting in more than 300 paid apprenticeships, 250 scholarships, and 900 films. The impact of BPA’s programs is evident in the countless success stories of youth who have thrived in school, life, and career paths.
