Our Story

Founded in 1965, Big Brothers Big Sisters WI Shoreline has been a pioneer in mentoring programs across Wisconsin. Originally established as Big Brothers Big Sisters of Sheboygan County, the organization has evolved through mergers, most recently with Manitowoc County in 2021, to serve a broader community. Over nearly six decades, the organization has positively impacted the lives of nearly 20,000 children by creating meaningful matches between adult mentors (Bigs) and youth (Littles) aged 5 to 18.

Our Impact

By collaborating with parents, volunteers, and community members, Big Brothers Big Sisters ensures that each child in the program achieves higher aspirations, improved relationships, and better emotional and academic outcomes. The support provided leads to enhanced social skills and a reduction in risky behaviors.
