Since 1968, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast has been dedicated to changing the lives of children in Florida's Sun Coast region. Originally established as Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Sarasota County, the organization has expanded its reach to serve communities across Sarasota, DeSoto, Manatee, Highlands, Hardee, Lee, Collier, Hendry, and Glades counties. By fostering one-to-one relationships between caring adult mentors and youth, the organization empowers children to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
