Since 1969, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the 7 Rivers Region has been dedicated to transforming the lives of youth through impactful mentorship. Originally a program of La Crosse County, Wisconsin, it became an independent agency in 1994 and rebranded in 2009 to better represent the communities served across Wisconsin and Minnesota.
Research shows that positive relationships between Littles and their Bigs lead to significant improvements in self-esteem, academic performance, and social skills. Participants in our programs are more likely to avoid risky behaviors and develop confidence that lasts a lifetime.
