Our Story
Established in 2001, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Nevada creates and supports one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. With over a century of proven success, this program pairs youth with caring adult mentors, contributing to brighter futures and stronger communities.
Impact
After 18 months with their Bigs, Little Brothers and Little Sisters showed remarkable improvements: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 52% less likely to skip school, and 33% less likely to engage in violence. 81% of former Littles reported increased hope, and 75% were more likely to earn a four-year college degree.
