Our Story

Incorporated in 1977, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island believes in the potential of every child. By fostering one-to-one mentoring relationships, the organization ignites the power and promise of youth through meaningful connections between adult volunteers and children.

Impact

BBBSLI has made a significant difference in the lives of local youth. An impressive 94% of Littles who graduated high school were accepted into college, and 98% of high school seniors graduated. Additionally, 100% of Littles were promoted to the next grade, showcasing the effectiveness of the mentoring program.
