Our Story

Big Brothers Big Sisters Hawai‘i supports keiki from 6 years old and up through one-to-one mentoring relationships that foster social and emotional development. By connecting youth with dedicated mentors, the organization ensures that every keiki has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Impact

With a significant expansion in services, Big Brothers Big Sisters Hawai‘i has grown from serving 250 children annually to over 800 before the COVID pandemic. Plans are in place to serve closer to 1,000 children each year, thanks in part to a historic donation from philanthropist MacKenzie Scott.
