Founded by Mark Turk in 2014, Beat 4 Beat, formerly known as Beyond the Grade, was created to address the pressing needs of at-risk students in the Austin area. After witnessing the transformative power of music education, Mark dedicated this organization to providing essential musical opportunities to underserved youth while also supporting local musicians in their careers.
