In spring 2021, the merger of the Center for Literacy and the Community Learning Center created Beyond Literacy, a powerful force for change in Philadelphia. With a combined 87 years of experience, this organization is dedicated to providing high-quality educational services that empower adult learners. From its roots as a volunteer tutoring program in 1968, Beyond Literacy has expanded its reach to serve over 1,500 individuals each year, helping them improve their reading, writing, math, and digital skills.
