Our Story

The Beulah Grove Community Resource Center, Inc. was established in 1993 by the Beulah Grove Baptist Church, led by Rev. Dr. Sam Davis. This initiative transformed a notorious nightclub, known as The Red Door, into a beacon of hope for the community. The Center, originally named Operation Self-Help, was created to address the pressing mental, medical, social, and economic needs of the 30901 zip code in Augusta/Richmond County, Georgia. In 1997, a new building was constructed to continue this vital work.

Impact

Beulah Grove Community Resource Center provides essential services such as food assistance, financial aid, and educational support, significantly enhancing the quality of life for local residents.
