Founded by Syd Stewart, Better Youth began as a music and creative writing organization in New York City. With a mission to uplift children facing adversity, Stewart worked closely with youth from The Ronald McDonald House and Harlem's housing projects. In 2010, the organization expanded its reach to Los Angeles, continuing to inspire and empower youth.
