Our Story
Founded in April 1992, Better Homes for North Carolina Inc. emerged from a local initiative aimed at addressing the housing needs of low to moderate-income individuals and families. Over the years, the organization has successfully invested in 276 housing units across North Carolina, including significant partnerships in Siler City and Fuquay Varina. The first major project involved the renovation of 56 units in Clayton, NC, completed in 1995. Since then, Better Homes has continued to enhance communities by acquiring and renovating properties in various locations, including Havelock and Fairmont.
