Berkshire Music School

Our Story

Founded in 1940 by Winnie Davis Long Crane, Berkshire Music School serves over 650 students annually through the expertise of more than 40 professional music educators. The school collaborates with cultural organizations, social service agencies, and senior centers, offering recitals, concerts, and residencies. Celebrating 83 years of service in 2023, it provides quality music education to the greater Berkshire community, welcoming individuals of all ages, races, sexes, religions, ethnic origins, and abilities.
