In 1991, the Berkeley Community Fund was established by passionate individuals dedicated to fostering hope and equity within the community. This initiative evolved into Berkeley Community Scholars in 2019, focusing on empowering youth from Berkeley High School to achieve their dreams of higher education.

Impacting the Future

Berkeley Community Scholars has supported over 150 students in their pursuit of college education, providing essential resources such as scholarships, mentoring, and college advising. Remarkably, BCS scholars graduate at six times the national rate of their peers, showcasing the profound impact of dedicated support and guidance.
