Our Story
In 2003, the Bentonville Library Foundation was established to meet the community's vision of a new library facility. Through the generosity of individuals, corporations, and foundations, the Foundation raised $7 million, complemented by a $2 million investment from the city of Bentonville. This collective effort culminated in the grand opening of the Bentonville Public Library on October 30, 2006, located at 405 S. Main Street. Today, the library welcomes over 250,000 visitors each year, providing a hub for learning, technology access, and community engagement.
Impact
The Foundation plays a crucial role in supporting library services by funding books, equipment, technology, and community programs. This investment enriches the lives of Bentonville residents by providing essential resources and learning opportunities.
