Our Story

The Bent Tree Foundation, established in 2009, is a dedicated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to enhancing the lives of individuals in Pickens County, Georgia. With a diverse board of nine volunteers, the Foundation operates with transparency and efficiency, maintaining expenses below 2% of total donations.

Our Impact

Over the years, the Bent Tree Foundation has awarded more than $314,000 in scholarships and grants to students and teachers, while also providing a safe haven for over 134 dogs and 165 cats in our community-funded animal shelter.
