Our Story
The Belton Center for the Arts was founded in March 1999 by a dedicated group of community citizens who recognized the need for a cultural hub in Belton, South Carolina. In 2000, a generous donation of a building provided the first home for the center, which quickly became a beloved part of the community. As the demand for arts programming grew, BCA launched a capital campaign in 2006 to purchase and renovate a larger facility. By 2008, the center had moved to its current location, doubling its square footage to better serve the community. The renovations have transformed the space into a vibrant arts center, featuring two large galleries, a multi-use classroom, a full kitchen, and a pottery room, all designed to foster creativity and collaboration.
