Our Story
Founded in 2017 by Dr. Sara Goldrick-Rab, Believe in Students addresses the challenges faced by college students navigating a broken financial aid system. The organization was born from the proceeds of Dr. Goldrick-Rab's award-winning book, Paying the Price, which highlighted the struggles of students. The FAST Fund, our flagship program, empowers faculty to provide emergency cash assistance to students in need.
