Our Story

The Beit Sahour USA Organization was born from a long-held dream to unite the Beit Sahour community and its descendants across the United States. The journey began in Michigan, home to the largest Beit Sahour population in the country, where various local organizations attempted to form a national body. Despite challenges and setbacks, the vision remained alive.

In 2019, a pivotal fundraising event in Detroit aimed at supporting a Senior Living Facility in Beit Sahour reignited discussions about establishing a national organization. This led to a public meeting in Flint, Michigan, where dedicated volunteers came together to transform the dream into a tangible project.

By March 2020, the first general assembly meeting was held, marking a significant milestone in the formation of Beit Sahour USA. The organization was officially established, with a National Steering Committee working diligently to unify state chapters while allowing them to operate independently.
