Our Story

In 2008, Cara and Mary, both cancer survivors, recognized a critical gap in education and support for families with hearing loss. This realization sparked the creation of Beginnings SC in January 2012, dedicated to providing expert knowledge and individualized planning strategies for parents, professionals, and communities.

Impact

In 2022, Beginnings SC made a significant impact by serving 189 families and screening 1,425 children for hearing issues, enhancing the lives of many in South Carolina.
