BASCOL

Our Story

BASCOL was founded in 1989 by a dedicated group of parents who recognized the need for quality child care for school-age children. After conducting a thorough needs and feasibility study, BASCOL was established as a not-for-profit organization in 1992. The first program opened in Liverpool with just thirteen children, and since then, BASCOL has expanded its reach to serve multiple school districts across Central New York.

Impact

Since its inception, BASCOL has provided licensed child care to approximately 600 children annually, supported by a dedicated staff of 50 employees. The organization has continually adapted to meet community needs, including offering remote learning care during the Covid-19 pandemic.
