Bee Humble

Our Story

Established in 2017, Bee Humble is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring hope and restoring dignity to the world’s most vulnerable people. Founded by Ryah Wang after witnessing the dire conditions faced by refugees in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, Bee Humble was born out of a commitment to compassion, integrity, humility, and resiliency. The organization initially focused on providing essential health services and nutritional support to those fleeing the genocide in Myanmar.

In its early days, Bee Humble initiated a deworming program that reached over 71,317 individuals, provided medical services to 17,846 children, women, and the elderly, and offered day-care treatment to 1,260 starving babies. As the acute emergency transitioned into a long-term crisis, the needs of the refugees evolved. Recognizing this shift, Bee Humble began to focus on providing comfort items and support that would allow individuals to live with dignity and hope, rather than merely surviving.
