Our Story

In 2006, a group of compassionate Bedford citizens, led by former BCCS President Karen Hughes, established the Bedford Community Christmas Station to offer Christmas assistance to low-income families. The initiative began with the goal of providing clothing, toys, household items, and food in a respectful manner. In its inaugural year, the organization served 262 families, thanks to the generosity of local donors.

Impact

Since its inception, Bedford Community Christmas Station has positively impacted over 4,000 families during the Christmas season, ensuring they receive essential items. The organization has also expanded its services to include year-round programs like a food pantry and school shoe distribution.
