Our Story

The Becker-Big Lake Youth Hockey Association (BBLYHA) was established in 1993 by passionate youth hockey enthusiasts. Initially formed as Becker Youth Hockey, the organization quickly grew from just 23 players and two coaches to a thriving community of over 100 players skating from mites to bantams. In 1997, Becker Youth Hockey joined forces with the Big Lake School District, solidifying its commitment to youth hockey in the region. BBLYHA is dedicated to nurturing young athletes, instilling values of sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth both on and off the ice.
