Our Story

Founded in 1971 by Marsha Woody, Beaumont Civic Ballet has blossomed into a vibrant cultural institution in Texas. With over 80 talented dancers, including junior, senior apprentice, and senior members, the company showcases the beauty of dance through rigorous training and captivating performances. Each year, dancers are selected through open auditions, ensuring a diverse and dynamic ensemble. BCB performs at the Julie Rogers Theatre and collaborates with local civic organizations, such as the Junior League of Beaumont, to elevate the appreciation of dance in the community.
