Our Story
Bear Paw Camp, originally founded as a boy scout survival camp in 1965, has transformed into a vibrant Christian camp and retreat center since its acquisition by Bob and Nancy Suoboda in 1992. Nestled on 135 wooded acres along the scenic Pend Oreille River, Bear Paw Camp has been a beacon of faith for over 40 years, providing a serene environment for campers to connect with God and each other.
