Our Story
In the fall of 1999, a group of passionate individuals came together with a shared vision: to create a baseball and softball league that would enrich the community. With the support of Mr. Bernie Doherty, the state commissioner for Babe Ruth, the dream took flight. A proposal was made to Red Lion Evangelical Free Church and Red Lion Christian Academy, granting permission to use their fields and develop new ones. This proposal was unanimously accepted on January 18th, marking the beginning of an exciting journey. In the inaugural year of 2000, 33 teams were formed, engaging over 400 children in the joy of the game. Through dedicated fundraising efforts, approximately $50,000 was raised to build beautiful new fields, transforming the dream into reality.
