Our Story

Beacon of Light is dedicated to empowering young people to thrive through comprehensive prevention education. Founded by Fran Tracy over 20 years ago in Orange County, the organization has been a beacon of hope for vulnerable youth and their families. In collaboration with Check the Facts, created by Jeanette Fanconi, the mission is clear: to provide students with the knowledge they need to make informed life choices. Together, we are committed to reaching more students and spreading a message of truth and wisdom.

Impact

With over two decades of experience, Beacon of Light has become a cornerstone of prevention education in Orange County. The Check the Facts program has successfully served over 6,000 students annually in Northern California since 2016, and the goal is to expand this reach to over 112,000 students by 2028.
