Our Story

BE REAL is a nonprofit organization founded by Denise Hamburger, inspired by her own journey with body dissatisfaction. The mission is to spread body confidence across the USA, connecting communities to tackle cultural issues surrounding body image, especially influenced by social media.

Impact

With initiatives reaching over 4,000 health teachers, social workers, and school administrators, BE REAL promotes mental health and body confidence among students. Resources and training are provided to create supportive environments for children.
