Our Story

Founded in 2001, Be a Helping Hand Foundation began as a nonprofit training program aimed at educating Nashville’s underrepresented communities in the building trades. In 2006, the focus shifted to providing safe, affordable housing and person-centered support in response to the housing crisis.

Impact

With over 45 affordable homes built or restored in North Nashville and surrounding areas, BHH ensures families have access to sustainable and safe housing. The Solar Equity Program empowers marginalized communities with solar power and job training.
