Our Story

The Bay View Historical Society was founded in 1979 by neighbors Paul Kohlbeck and Audrey Quinsey, who envisioned a community dedicated to preserving the rich history of Bay View. What began as a small gathering of forty individuals has blossomed into a vibrant organization with nearly 500 members, committed to sharing and celebrating the unique heritage of this neighborhood.

Impact

Through five historic programs each year and a bi-monthly newsletter, The Bay View Historian, the Society actively engages the community in understanding and appreciating its history.
