Our Story
The Baytown Little Theater, founded in May 1961 by a passionate group of friends, has been a cornerstone of cultural enrichment in the Baytown community. From its humble beginnings with just 40 families, the theater has grown to become a vibrant hub for the arts, staging its first production, 'Biography,' in August 1961. Over the years, the organization has faced challenges, including a devastating accident in 2007 that destroyed its original location. However, the theater has persevered, transforming a new building into a theater-in-the-round and continuing to produce high-quality theatrical productions.
