Our Story

In February 2002, a group of four UC Davis undergraduates identified a critical need for a free clinic serving the Filipino community, particularly Filipino World War II Veterans. With the support of Richard Ikeda, executive director of Health for All, they established this community-oriented primary care project. The name 'Bayanihan' embodies the spirit of collective effort towards a common goal, honoring the legacy of Filipino veterans.

Impact

Bayanihan Clinic delivers accessible primary and preventative healthcare to Filipino immigrants and underserved communities in the Greater Sacramento area, while advocating for Filipino veterans.
