Our Story

The Bay Community Tennis Association was established in 2012 to revive the tennis culture in Bay City, Michigan. Following the closure of public courts, a local high school student spearheaded a fundraising campaign, leading to the formation of this nonprofit organization. With unwavering community support, the Janet Jopke Courts opened in June 2019, marking a significant milestone for tennis in the area.

Impact

Since its inception, the Bay Community Tennis Association has successfully built eight public outdoor tennis courts, promoting health, fitness, and athletic excellence. These courts serve as a vibrant hub for recreational and competitive tennis, benefiting individuals and families of all ages.
