Our Story

Founded in 2003 by Angela Padilla and Deb Mosley, Bay Area Young Survivors (BAYS) emerged from the shared experiences of two young women diagnosed with breast cancer. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by their peers, they created a supportive community that began in a small apartment and has now grown to over 600 members.
