Our Story

The Bay Area Girls Rock Camp was inspired by the Rock β€˜n’ Roll Camp for Girls in Portland, Oregon. After volunteering there, the founding organizers brought this empowering experience to the Bay Area in 2008. The inaugural camp served 65 girls with the help of 40 dedicated volunteers. Since then, the camp has expanded its reach, serving hundreds of youth annually with a growing team and a committed Board of Directors.
