Empowering Sailors with Disabilities

The Bay Area Association of Disabled Sailors (BAADS) is dedicated to making sailing accessible for everyone. Founded in 1991, BAADS operates out of South Beach Marina, providing adaptive sailing opportunities for individuals with disabilities. With a fleet of specially rigged keelboats and Hansa Dinghies, BAADS serves 15-50 participants each weekend, fostering independence and confidence through sailing.

Transforming Lives Through Sailing

Every weekend, BAADS empowers participants to learn sailing skills, enhancing their confidence and sense of community.
