Our Story

Founded in 1929 by Grace Bauer, Tippecanoe County’s first probation officer, Bauer Family Resources began as a community initiative to prevent youth from falling into trouble. Over the decades, the organization has expanded its reach, now serving children and families across a nine-county area in West Central Indiana. The mission of building hopeful futures is at the core of every program and service offered, ensuring that every child and family can aspire to a life filled with success, strong family ties, and positive community connections.

Our Impact

Bauer Family Resources positively impacts over 10,000 children and families annually, with 95% of those served living at or below the federal poverty level. The organization invests more than $9 million each year into community programs, significantly enhancing the well-being of the families it serves.
