The Baton Rouge Youth Coalition (BRYC) is a dedicated community of students and caring adults committed to advancing equity through access to higher education. Located in Baton Rouge, BRYC supports lower-income students of color who face systemic barriers to achieving the American Dream.
Making a Lasting Impact
Under the leadership of Lucas, BRYC has expanded its reach from 50 high school students in 2012-2013 to nearly 500 8th–12th-graders and 750 alumni by 2024-2025.
