Our Story

Barton Springs Conservancy was established in 2014 to collaborate with key stakeholders in the Barton Springs area. The organization focuses on identifying and supporting projects that enhance this vital natural resource. Initial efforts included fundraising and community input for the Barton Springs Bathhouse Rehabilitation project, as outlined in the 2008 Barton Springs Master Plan. This initiative has led to the creation of the For the Love of the Springs Campaign, aimed at improving facilities and promoting environmental education.

Our Impact

With over $3.3 million raised in private funds, Barton Springs Conservancy has played a crucial role in restoring the historic Barton Springs Bathhouse. This facility not only serves as a community gathering spot but also connects residents to their environmental, cultural, and historical heritage.
