Our Story

The Bartlesville Symphony Orchestra, originally known as The Little Symphony Players, has been a cornerstone of the Bartlesville community since its inception in 1957. Evolving through the years, it became The Phillips Symphony and was renamed the Bartlesville Symphony in 1976. After gaining independence from Phillips Petroleum in 1977, the BSO has dedicated itself to promoting the arts and providing educational programs, fostering community engagement and musical excellence under the guidance of esteemed conductors, including the current Music Director, Lauren Green.
