Our Story

Barrington Youth and Family Services (BYFS) was established in 1972 to address the mental health needs of the Barrington community. Originally known as Barrington Youth Services, the organization evolved to reflect the growing emphasis on family health and wellness. In 2005, the name was changed to Barrington Youth and Family Services to better represent our mission. Today, BYFS continues to adapt and respond to the changing needs of the community, providing essential support and services.
