Our Story

Barrington Giving Day has been a beacon of hope for the Barrington community for over 80 years. Originally established under the Barrington Salvation Army, the organization evolved to meet the changing needs of families, leading to the creation of Church Women United and a community food pantry. In 2005, Barrington Giving Day was formed to provide essential support to families facing hardships.

Impact

This year, the Back to School event served a record 352 families, equipping students with school supplies, clothing, and shoes to ensure they start the school year prepared and confident. Throughout the year, Barrington Giving Day hosts various events, including a Winter Event that provides essential winter clothing and supplies.
