Our Story

Barrett’s Bears Ministry was founded by Natalie and Walker Boggs after the loss of their son, Barrett Anthony Boggs, who passed away on September 25, 2018. On that day, a rainbow appeared in the sky, symbolizing the hope of Heaven and the promises to come. Shortly after their loss, the family received a 'Barrett Bear' from a friend, which became a cherished reminder of Barrett's presence in their lives. The mission of Barrett’s Bears is to extend this comfort to other families experiencing similar grief, embodying the love of Jesus Christ as described in 2 Corinthians 1:4.

Our Impact

Since September 2020, Barrett’s Bears Ministry has donated nearly 2,700 bears to families across 48 states and several countries, providing solace to those in mourning.
